As an official member of the Visitor Information Network we are dedicated to providing you with accurate, objective information on all the activities and accommodation available to make your stay in the Waitomo Caves area memorable.

Waitomo Caves offers thrill-seeking adventures, such as black water rafting, abseiling, rock climbing and horse trekking. For a relaxing stay, stroll through native forests and spectacular limestone landscapes. Experience the unique flora and fauna of the Waitomo Caves area - Waitomo has something for everyone!
With so much to offer and so many opportunities it’s great to know that you can use an official Visitor Information Network Centre. Just look for the i-SITE sign, where our friendly and professional staff will provide you with free information on all activities above and below ground. We also have a comprehensive range of accommodation available.

OFFICE OPENING HOURS:
26th Dec - 28th Feb: 8:15am - 7:00pm - 7 days a week
1st Mar - end of Easter weekend: 8:45 am - 5:30 pm - 7 days a week
Labour Weekend (Oct) - 24th Dec: 8:45 am - 5:30 pm - 7 days a week
All other days: 8:45am - 5:00pm - 7 days a week
Open every day except Christmas Day
